Brothers and sisters,
Apparently, STRIPE, the payment processor for locals.com, can’t handle the truth. They deplatformed me because, as they put it:
“We recently identified payments on your Stripe account for Joel ***** that don't appear to have been authorized by the customer, meaning that the owner of the card or bank account didn't consent to these payments.”
This is a complete lie. I know every one of my supporters personally. There have been no unauthorized transactions. Upon receiving their email, I logged into my stripe.com account to see the status of my account. I saw that I was no longer supported and that I had 0 days to respond. That’s right. They told me I was deplatformed and gave me 0 days to contact them.
At any rate, I have reached out to them, to see what they think they are doing. If you are a current supporter, please sit tight, I’ll continue to put out content here on locals.com. Very soon, I’ll have something set up for your continued support, which I greatly value and appreciate.
Instead of depending on just one platform, I will likely have multiple support options. Once I get your subscription on whatever platform you choose (from the options I’ll provide later), I’ll grant membership to your account with me on locals.com.
We will continue to speak the truth clearly and loudly as servants of our Lord Jesus, the one and only Christ. I’ll give you an update very soon. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you as you remain faithful to Him.
